Overview

The first round of the Practice Bootcamp was held on September 18, 2025, at the Central Building of Kateb University and was met with overwhelming participation from students at Kateb University and other institutions across the country. At the opening ceremony, Mr. Mohammad Dawood Frotan welcomed all participants and provided an overview of the bootcamp’s structure, emphasizing the significance and positive impact of ICPC competitions. He further assured attendees that Kateb University’s administration is fully committed to organizing these events to the highest possible standards.
A total of 16 teams from both public and private universities competed in this round. The bootcamp took place in the Computer Science Department’s laboratory at Kateb University’s Central Building (Darulaman Road). Preparations for the event commenced on September 6, 2025, led by the Computer Science Department and the Technical Team—comprising students from the same department—under the supervision of the Information Technology Management Office, ensuring a high-quality experience for all participants.
At the conclusion of this trial round, the following results were announced:
-1st Place: RuntimeTerror – Ghurjistan University
-2nd Place: CodeCraft – Kabul University
-3rd Place: Pixel – Kateb University
Mr. Frotan congratulated the winning teams and expressed appreciation to all participants, expressing hope that the experience gained in this round would serve as a foundation for improved performance in Round 2 and successful participation in the final ICPC competition.
